What I Used to Believe

I believe in the God of the Bible. He is the same today, yesterday, and forever.

I believe in the concept of the Trinity, though it is not mentioned by name in the Bible. I believe the Father (God), the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit are all God, but also each distinct.

I believe the Bible is the living Word of God and relevant to us today. It was written by men and guided by the Spirit.

I believe that God has no boundaries and does not live in a box.

I believe that putting God in box makes Him something He is not.

I believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

I believe that if you do not choose the Way of Jesus, you will be eternally seperated from God.

I believe it is your prerogative to choose Jesus or not choose Jesus.

I believe that following Jesus is a better way to live.

I believe being generous is a better way to live.

I believe forgiving people and not carrying around bitterness is a better way to live.

I believe having compassion is a better way to live.

I believe pursuing peace in every situation is a better way to live.

I believe being honest with people is a better way to live.
